Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Gamma Tau Sigma Chapter, its Philo, Rhoer, and Rhosebud Clubs in conjunction with the 100 Black Men of the Inland Empire would like to invite you to participate in our Second Annual Black History Month Celebration. Our organizations are committed to addressing issues that perpetuate social inequality and we endeavor to be a catalyst for change by empowering and engaging our community.
This year’s Black History Creative Works Contest is open to all scholars enrolled in grades Kinder – College. We welcome essays, poetry, rap, and other forms of literary/creative work. All submissions must be non-fiction and provide information about a historical person or event relevant to Black History. The Black History Creative Works Contest is open now through January 15, 2022, for submissions. Participation is FREE.
