Inspired by the life of Nina Simone, Black Is The Color of My Voice & Soul Sessions follows the moving and compelling story of a successful jazz singer and civil rights activist seeking redemption after the untimely death of her father. The second part of the evening is Apphia’s ‘Soul Sessions’ cabaret, celebrating Simone’s brilliant music. Direct from sell-out performances around the world in Shanghai, New York, Edinburgh and London’s St James Theatre, Apphia Campbell brings her acclaimed show to Wilton’s for a five night run.
