Join Grand Union Orchestra for a participatory musical project exploring diverse African cultures and the musical heritage of Tower Hamlets’ communities.

Development sessions and performance will be led by artists born or brought up in musical traditions ranging from South Africa and Zimbabwe, through Angola, DR Congo and Sierra Leone to Nigeria, Ghana and Somalia. Participants will shape and develop the project from the beginning with their own material, stories and experiences and have opportunities to share musical traditions.
