THE CARIBBEAN’S GREAT WAR

Sunday 13 November 2016 10:00 – 18:00

The Caribbean’s Great War is a display that acknowledges and celebrates the little known role played by the Caribbean during the First World War. Housed within the London, Sugar and Slavery gallery, the display will showcase a variety of items including recruitment posters, photographs of the BWIR, commemorative stamps and war honours awarded to soldiers. The display was created in partnership with the West India Committee.
