“Afro Art” is an art performance to celebrate the powerful symbol of the black hair and reflect pride, heritage, and cultural identity.

 

“Afro Art” is an art performance to celebrate the powerful symbol of the black hair and reflect pride, heritage, and cultural identity. Join a full afternoon of music, dance, food, and a live performance of Afro Art while a creative artists guide us to a creative conversation about the performance and hair as symbol of pride and activism. It will be space for creative writing exercises.

1-2pm Taste Nigerian food

2.30-5pm Afro Art live performance– creative writing activities
