JOTA.PÊ

Wednesday 1 May

With influences ranging from Jorge Ben to Caetano Veloso and going through the manguebeat of Chico Science, the Brazilian singer-songwriter Jota.pê, born in Osasco, released some singles and his first album “Crónicas de um Sonhador” in 2015, and the EP “Garoa” in 2021.

At the same time, Jota started the duo ÀVUÀ with his friend Bruna Black. A partnership that earned a nomination for the 2021 Latin Grammy with the album “ONZE” (which brings together great performers such as Elza Soares and Zeca Baleiro). In the same year, the duo was invited to participate in ColorsxStudios, one of the largest music channels in the world. In 2022, after several performances in Brazil, he made his first tour of Europe, having returned in 2023, this time with ÀVUÀ.

2024 is the year that brings Jota.Pê back to Europe with his new album “Se O Meu Peito Fosse o Mundo”.
