From sampling One Direction to rocketing to global fame, the singer-songwriter’s career has been supercharged.
He gained recognition from his very first release, ‘Sade’, a love song which sampled instrumentals from One Direction’s ‘Story of My Life’, which led to him signing a recording contract just two weeks after its release.
Since then, he’s released five albums: Gold, About 30, Afro Pop Vol 1, Catch Me If You Can and Tequila Ever After.
Tequila Ever After features collaborations with top-tier talent including Khalid, Simi, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers.
For this one-off appearance, Adekunle Gold is joined by the Guildhall Session Orchestra, a dynamic ensemble of talented alumni from Guildhall School of Music & Drama, which has recently been making waves in the music world, collaborating with celebrated artists and pushing creative boundaries.
