Experience Jah Makin It Happen, a vibrant and uplifting reggae musical that tells a powerful story of migration, resilience and Caribbean identity.

Presented by G.A.P Entertainment, this engaging musical follows a Jamaican family’s journey from the Caribbean to the UK during the Windrush era, exploring the challenges and opportunities faced as they build a new life in Britain.

At the heart of the story is Johnny, a man driven by dreams of becoming a reggae star and providing a better future for his family. When a devastating hurricane leaves him without work in Jamaica, he makes the difficult decision to migrate, beginning a journey shaped by hope, hardship and determination.

Told through the vibrant rhythms of reggae music, the production blends humour, emotion and storytelling, capturing both the struggles and triumphs of the Windrush generation. The show highlights themes of identity, belonging and cultural resilience, offering audiences an engaging and accessible insight into a defining period of Black British history.

Combining live music, choreography and theatrical performance, Jah Makin It Happen delivers a lively and family-friendly experience, celebrating Caribbean culture while reflecting on the realities of migration and adaptation.
