Black History Re: Creative

Saturday 28th January

Black History Re: Creative is a programme using creativity to teach about Black History

The programme is a series of creative workshops spanning 6 months and is open to children and families from all walks of life to attend.

We should all know about Black History because it is a history shared by many. To go forward we need to know where we came from.

The workshops are based in the newly refurbished Moorings Sociable Club in Thamesmead and will run on various Saturdays (from 10-12pm) throughout the months of October 2022 to March 2023.

The subject areas will cover film, dance, hair, skin, Nigerian/Zimbabwean/South African/Caribbean/Blasian cultures, fashion, mentoring, identity, art and discussion.
