Ragz Originale is a UK-born singer, songwriter and producer renowned for crafting timeless classics that have reflected and affected the contemporary British music experience in recent years.
A nominee of the prestigious Ivor Novello award for songwriting, he has produced for a wide-ranging selection of artists — from UK Rap and Grime legend, and fellow North Londoner, Skepta to the unclassifiable, definitive FKA Twigs; to the late, innovative hyperpop superpower, SOPHIE.
He then branched out to pursue a solo career with the release of 2018’s Nature. The solo move has seen his growth and impact expand over three independently-released EPs, two mixtapes, and a string of singles.
Ragz Originale has a knack for collaboration. He co-founded the MINIKINGZ collective which comprises BenjiFlow, Oscar #Worldpeace, RXLLZ, and E-Whizz, and has worked on songs with Knucks, IDK, Lady Donli, and more.
As he gears up to release his debut full length, Bare Sugar, there’s no telling where the perennially exciting multi-hyphenate will take it next.
