As part of Black History Month, PJ Cole of Lifeline Nehemiah Projects will present a special Roscoe Lecture entitled Transforming Lives Harnessing Talent – Africa’s Great Future
PJ grew up in West Africa, displaced by the civil wars in Sierra Leone and Liberia. He came to the UK to study law in 2006, spending time supporting vulnerable young people. In 2012 he was asked by LifeLine Network International to restructure Lifeline Nehemiah Projects, the school and home for ex-child soldiers, established by his late father in Sierra Leone.
PJ is the Executive Director of Lifeline Nehemiah Projects, in Sierra Leone where he directs a safe-home, four schools, vocational skills programme and farming work. PJ and the LifeLine Nehemiah team of former child soldiers, war slaves and orphans are committed to rebuilding Sierra Leone. PJ is a One Young World Ambassador and Queen’s Young Leader.
