The Environment & Performance Session

Friday Sep. 27 2019, 6.15-9.30pm

An inter-generational community event with youths and elders talking about, and singing about, environmental and other societal issues; and local organisations/projects displaying their wares and making presentations on their work in the community. Includes opportunity for workshopped-young people to join rapper/singer Kimba in performing the Music4Causes environmentally-focused songs*. With lovers rock singer Melo D, local gospel singer Patreecia, and veteran reggae singer Prince Jahkey of The Royals. PA system by FX Family. Includes reggae quiz by Shaun Cain, and performance by The Brent Factor.

*It’s Cool To Love Where You Live is a BTWSC youth-orientated project that engaged with the environmental issues of fly-tipping and littering through song.
