For Black History Month, the Race Equality Network is hosting a special panel discussion centred on the Black staff experience at the University of Cambridge, with a range of voices from libraries, colleges, and departments. This event will be moderated by Esiri Lawrence.

 

Schedule

5-5.30pm: Meet and greet with tea and pastries

5.30-5.35pm: Welcome and introduction, Dr Rabia Dada-Oughton (Co-chair, Race Equality Network)

5.35-6.15pm: Panel discussion

6.15-7pm: Audience Q&A

7-8pm: Drinks reception with canapés

Reception

There will be a drinks reception following this event from 7-8pm. Wine and cordial will be available, alongside a range of canapés.

COVID Regulations

We will be managing attendance at this event so that the venue does not exceed 50% capacity. The venue is socially-distanced, well-ventilated and hand sanitiser will be available on entry. Our attendees are encouraged to wear masks if able when seated at the venue, although this is not a requirement.
