Mart’nália

Sunday 16th October

Having been awarded with two Latin Grammys for Best Samba Album, Mart’nália is one of the most influential Brazilian artists of our generation.

She has explored the sounds of her cultural upbringing from an early age and has since gone on to record 13 studio albums.

Mart’nália had the privilege of being recognized by great names in Brazilian Popular Music. Caetano Veloso was the artistic director of her album Pé de meu Samba, having composed the title track and Maria Bethânia directed the album Menino do Rio. From these two albums, Mart’nália started to attract a lot of media attention, presenting herself live all over Brazil and then internationally with tours in Europe and Africa.
