When you think of the funky Jazz drenched sounds of golden era Hip-Hop you think Pete Rock and you now get this rare chance to hear the master at work live in London.
Influenced by the records in his father’s record collection Pete came to prominence alongside CL Smooth and together they created some of the greatest albums in Hip-Hop history. Beyond that he has worked with the greatest names in rap on some of the most iconic albums including Kanye West’s ‘Dark Twisted Fantasy’, Nas’s “Illmatic” & Slum Villages ‘Fantastic Vol.2’.
His influence can be heard in the work of countless producers and rappers to this day and for these shows he is joined by the talented AMXXR for whom Pete has produced the ‘21 Grams’ album.
