All Boys Rock

Thursday 19th November 2015

“We have a duty to let our boys know that they can be kings.
That not every boy growing up in the ghetto grows up to be a thug.”
All Boys Rock is an event which we are dedicating to celebrate alongside International Mens Day, November 17th and International Womens Day, March 8th to which we run ‘All Girls Rock’

This year’s theme: Working together for Men and Boys.

Proposed objectives of an International Men’s Day include a focus on men’s and boy’s health, improving gender relations, promoting gender equality, and highlighting positive male role models. It is also suggested as an occasion whereby men may celebrate their positive achievements and contributions to communities, places of work, friendships, families, marriages, and child care.

The Founders of SmartKid (Marcia Brock) SN Management (Serena N Coombs) and the Sunday Essiett Company (Natalie Thomlinson) have come together to form the We Rock Team. That works on annual events with a group forum for International Men and Women’s Day. Events: AllBoysRock – in honuor of International Men’s Day 19th November. AllGirlsRock – in honour of International Women’s Day 8th March.
