Alex Wheatle will talk about his latest books Liccle Bit and Crongton Knights. Crongton knights is another funny and moving story from the South Crong council estate in inner city London. Although life is testing, the lessons learned the hard way are the ones you’ll never forget. Liccle Bit is about family and friends and how a teenage boy gets caught up in gang culture. Apart from writing, Alex visits various institutions and runs creative writing classes and gives talks. He has also narrated an audio guide to the streets of Brixton and his debut novel Brixton Rock, was adapted for the stage and performed at the Young Vic.
