As we reflect on the accomplishments of the past year, the Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage looks forward with excitement to the opportunities ahead in 2026. To celebrate this moment of reflection and anticipation, we invite you to join us for Serendipity’s annual open house, which this year comes with a special festive twist.
This December, step into the holiday spirit at our Christmas market, where a curated selection of Black-led businesses will showcase high-end artisan products. Whether you are searching for a thoughtful gift or treating yourself, the market offers a wonderful variety of unique items that highlight creativity, craftsmanship, and culture.
The event promises a joyful atmosphere, perfect for gathering with friends and family as we celebrate the season together. It’s not only a chance to find that perfect gift but also an opportunity to support and connect with Black entrepreneurs and artists in the community.
The open house takes place on Saturday, 6 December, from 10.00am to 4.00pm at Studio Box, Serendipity. Admission is flexible with a pay-what-you-can policy, ensuring everyone is welcome to join the celebration regardless of means.
Artwork for the event is created by Patricia Vester, commissioned by the Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage, adding a vibrant and inspiring visual element to the festivities. We look forward to welcoming you to this special seasonal gathering.
