This film charts the last five years in the life of Brazilian writer, politician and revolutionary, Carlos Marighella (1911-1969). Considered as Che Guevara’s successor for Latin American activism, he resisted the military dictatorship of Brazil, and became a hunted enemy of the state.
The release of this biopic starring Seu Jorge was restricted for over two years by the Brazilian government.
