Ballaké Sissoko & Vincent Ségal Musique de Nuit UK Tour

Saturday 5th March 2016

Malian master of the kora, Ballaké Sissoko, and French cellist, Vincent Ségal, will tour in the UK in March 2016, following the release of their highly acclaimed second album, Musique de Nuit, out on No Format in September this year.

Building on the success of the first album they made together — Chamber Music — Musique de Nuit is more spellbinding than its predecessor, again drawing on the ancient well of West African troubadour songs, the rich heritage of Baroque music and a definite modern sensibility — capturing the sense of two musicians keenly listening to each other and creating a musical discourse of kora and cello.

So here is a chance to see this partnership at work live — two musicians who are masters of their own instruments — operating at the height of their talent.
