Irish-American Fionnghuala ‘Fig’ O’Reilly, crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2019, made history as the first woman of color and Black woman to represent Ireland at the international Miss Universe competition.
Passionate about technology, advocacy and storytelling, she advocates for women and diversity in science, technology, engineering and math. She is a NASA Datanaut and, as a Mission Unstoppable correspondent, is helping to change the face of STEM.
