This workshop explores Black history whilst challenging people’s view on self and others through fun and creative exercises to connect.

As children, we could create our own world through play. A lump of mud would magically become a chocolate cake, and a box could morph into a car.

We were unaware of the colour of our skin, and the history buried within it. Express yourself provides a creative and fun environment that explores Black history because it’s just history. An opportunity to re-define words like Black British through games and storytelling.
