Improving employment opportunities for young, Black men in London

Monday 17th July

Chief Executive, HR Directors & Hiring Managers – help us close London’s Black talent gap.

London has an abundance of Black male talent. Yet young Black men in the capital are up to three times more likely to be unemployed than their white counterparts, regardless of how qualified they are.

Join us on the 17th July, 12-2pm at EY, in Canary Wharf, to find out what more you can do to help.

We will be telling you all about Moving on Up, an employment initiative developed by Action for Race Equality and supported by Trust for London, City Bridge Trust, Brent Council, Newham Council and Jobcentre Plus.

And we will be sharing tangible steps you can take to reach out to, recruit, and retain more talented young Black men. Allowing your company to benefit from the many proven advantages of a more diverse workforce representative of our city.

Terms and conditions:

Entrance will not be granted without a ticket. This is to enable us to ensure we’re keeping to the event capacity.

We will be filming at the event for our social media channels. By attending this event, you are giving permission to be filmed.
