Our local OFFICIAL ANNUAL WINDRUSH DAY CELEBRATION will be taking place on the at the Vortex ‘Downstairs’ Bar in Gillet Square, Dalston, N16 8AZ.

This is the 2nd year of these Official celebrations, and as a Windrush Offspring we all have a responsibility to come together share, nurture and highlight this special day until it’s a national holiday.

We’ll be presenting it as our local WINDRUSH REMEMBRANCE FESTIVAL. And long may we keep it in our hearts.

This will be a special occasion packed with

• DJs – Tony Garrison, Jessie James, Emz, (Spice Radio) Erroll D (UK Roots Fm), Donna Hinds (RJR)
• Spoken Word & Poetry – Poetic Alchemist Nat Nye & Stell B, Nefertiti & Fyna
• Vocalists – Delroy Pinnock, Michael Arkk, Donna Hinds, Antony Richards, Heather Haywood, Ray Simpson

The event will run from 9pm till 2am on Saturday 22nd June.
