You are invited to join us to hear readings of some of the poems written for the Celebration of Black Female Voices – Still I Rise competition.

The theme for the competition is The Black Female Experience – Still I Rise. Winners of the competition will receive their prizes at the event. Attendees of the event will be given the opportunity to read their own poems. Come along and support. Let’s celebrate the poetic talent of the women of Leicester.
