García’s in-depth training in various music genres from a young age has enabled him to excel in jazz, flamenco, Spanish folk, classical, rock, and electronic music.
García’s last trio album, “Vía de la Plata” featured Ibrahim Maalouf, Anat Cohen and Gerardo Núñez. Daniel García grew up in a musicians family, listening to a great variety of music from Stravinsky to Led Zeppelin, from Miles Davis to Bach and from Paco de Lucía to Fatboy Slim. Daniel is one of the most active players in European Jazz scene. He has been nominated for “Best European Artist 2024” by the French Academie du Jazz. The trio will be premiering some of the music that will be part of their forthcoming, long awaited album, Wonderland.
New sonic worlds and surprises around every corner, with flamenco, jazz, rock, r´n´b or electronic music as starting points to shape a sound that is highly expressive, where rhythmic intensity allies with deep melodic lyricism and refined harmony, in an equally poetic and defying music.
