Hailing from Chesapeake, Virginia, Smith has collaborated with a wide range of legendary artists, from Pat Metheny and Dave Holland to Brittany Howard, Norah Jones, The Fearless Flyers, and even Michael Jackson. His dynamic style bridges jazz, RnB, hip-hop, and pop, bringing an unmistakable groove and emotional weight to everything he touches.
