Black entrepreneurs, professionals and community leaders share stories of enterprise, resilience, leadership and creating opportunities for others.
The Business & IP Centre Manchester and Impact Africa Business present a special Black History Month event celebrating the achievements and contributions of Black entrepreneurs across Greater Manchester.
Building on the success of the Black Business Meetup, the event will bring together business leaders and changemakers to share their journeys, the lessons they have learned and their experiences of building successful organisations.
The keynote speaker is Rev Charles Kwaku-Odoi DL, Chief Executive of the Caribbean & African Health Network. His address, Building Legacy, Creating Opportunity, will explore entrepreneurship, leadership and community impact.
A panel discussion chaired by Impact Africa Business founder Kwabena Anoff will feature Nicole Akyea-Mensah of Nicx Graphics, Kayode Ogungbadeyo of Cognitive Compliance, Arnold and Simon of OWC Catering, and Rev Charles Kwaku-Odoi.
The programme will include an audience question-and-answer session, practical business advice and networking opportunities.
The event is suitable for established business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, students, professionals and community leaders.
Admission is free, but advance booking is required.
