A weekend of celebrating British African women’s history on Zoom!

Join us, as we mark the end of Women’s History Month 2024, the 60th anniversary of the passing of Britain’s greatest ever activist Claudia Jones, the memory of educationalist Dame Jocelyn Barrow and other inspirational British African women, with a weekend filled with inspiring stories, and empowering discussions celebrating the rich history and achievements of African women in Britain. It features the Kwaku-directed BTWSC/African Histories Revisited videos and is moderated by community activist Sis Nana Asante, plus some special guests.

From exploring the untold stories to discussing the challenges and triumphs of women today, this event is a must-attend for anyone passionate about women’s history and empowerment.
