Before Them, We: Oral History Workshop

This session will introduce participants to oral history and equip them with the techniques on how to execute oral history interviews.

 

Led by curator, producer and oral historian, Natalie Fiawoo – this session will introduce participants to oral history and equip them with the techniques on how to execute oral history interviews, specifically with a focus on West African elders.

Bio: Natalie Fiawoo is an experienced Producer and Curator of mixed Ghanaian and British heritage. With a focus on telling stories of the African Diaspora, Natalie has most recently worked with Playwright and Poet Yomi Sode, Apples and Snakes, and The Albany Theatre. She is currently working with Black Cultural Archives and Bloomberg to curate content for the Bloomberg Connects App, and is the curator for Before Them, We.
