Get Involved, Change The Outcome, We Invite You To Address The Issue Of Black Men’s Experiences Of The Mental Health System In The Uk.

 

Social Justice Arts Practitioner Tony Cealy From The Black Men’s Consortium Has Been Working With Young, Middle Aged And Older Black Men With Lived Experience Of Injustice, Marginalisation And Oppression.

The Interactive Community Event Will Highlight Thought-provoking Scenes Based On The Causes That Lie Behind These Deeply Important Issues.

Produced Over The Last Two Months, This Will Be Some Of The Mens’ First Experience Of Performing. The Performance Will Be A Creative Catalyst For An Interactive Debate And Panel Discussion (Panel To Be Confirmed).

The Aim Of The Event Is To Ask ‘what We Can Do Differently To Challenge Black Mens Experience Within Mental Health’ And ‘what Systems And Policies Need To Change To Help Our Fellow Citizens’
