Can you Hair Me?

A focus on Afro-textured Hair and Cancer-related Afro Hair Loss. We will have guest speakers, storytelling, games and light entertainment.

 

We are holding an event to discuss Afro Textured Hair, hairstyling, wigs, hair loss and Cancer-related Afro-hair loss and are you are invited to join us for an evening of education, inspiration, and empowerment as we come together to address some of the challenges and triumphs associated with Cancer and Cancer-related Afro hair loss .

During this informative evening, we will have guest speakers and story-telling to include raising awareness, sharing practical tips, covering emotional well-being, and sharing information about available resources.

We will also be holding a ‘Macmillan Coffee Hour’ and will have games and entertainment.

Whether you’re a healthcare professional, cancer survivor, carer, advocate,or are interested in knowing more about this topic, then this event is for you as it offers something for everyone committed to the fight against cancer and how to manage some of its side-effects.

This is a FREE event and Welcome Drinks will be served between 6pm-6.15pm so please come early!
