Share, listen and learn in order to make lasting changes in our maternity services
Black and Asian mothers and new parents are more likely to encounter poor care or to suffer harm when using maternity services in the UK. This event brings together new parents and parents-to-be and maternity staff to listen and make changes to improve maternity care at The Rosie Hospital in Cambridge.
The event is hosted by Mars Lord, a Black birth activist and founder of Abuela Doulas, and is organised by Rosie Maternity & Neonatal Voices, the service user-staff partnership at the Rosie Hospital. The event is supported by the Rosie Hospital and Cambridgeshire Clinical Commissioning Group.
