Harrow African Season 2019 HISTORY + SOCIAL + OPEN MIC + MINI AFRICAN MARKET

UPDATE: Following on from the good vibes and networking that took place at what was supposed to be our last event – Nana Asante‘s Pan-Africanism presentation on Monday Nov. 4 – and people asking “when’s the next event?”, we have decided to put on one more event to wrap up the year – but this will be only happen if enough people are pro-active in expressing a desire to attend such an event.

FINAL UPDATE: This extra event is now CONFIRMED as a result of the expression of intetest we received.

This event consists of:
1. A short screening of a global African history video
2. A short inter-active African British history quiz/presentation
3. Open mic music and poetry performances
4. Social and networking forum
5. African-Caribbean food, books, DVDs, African crafts and artefacts on SALE – please bring cash to support!
