Hastings Coach to the March Against Racism

Saturday 19th March

Hastings coach to the national March Against Racism in London

Thanks to Hastings District Unite the Union for booking the coach

On Saturday March 19 we will be marching in London – part of a day of international protests to mark UN Anti-Racism Day. Protest against the government’s outrageous blocking of refugees from Ukraine. Demand safe passage for refugees from Ukraine – and Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Sudan and so many more places.

The government is scapegoating refugees, migrants and all black and minority ethnic people. New laws will roll back the gains of the BLM movement and make institutional racism even worse. More refugees will drown in the Channel. The police are getting more powers for Stop & Search and to stop protests. The government is using the politics of ‘divide and rule’ to distract from their own failings.

But antiracism is strong in Britain – we are the majority. It’s time to make our voices heard. Bring your banners

We say:

Refugees and migrants welcome – Black Lives Matter – No to racism, Islamophobia, antisemitism and fascism.
