Chineke! Junior Orchestra, a youth orchestra of black and minority ethnic (BME) musicians aged 11 – 18, is the sister ensemble to the Chineke! Orchestra, who act as mentors, teachers and role models to the young musicians.
By giving young musicians experience and encouragement, Chineke! Junior Orchestra hopes to increase the numbers of BME candidates studying music at third level.
