The Art of Voguing with Jay Jay Revlon

14 Sep 2019

Take the ballroom by storm at a voguing workshop with the co-founder of The Men of Colour Society.

Jay Jay Revlon, of Peckham’s legendary vogue night Let’s Have a Kiki, takes you through the art of the dance style that originated in the Harlem ballroom scene.

Explore the dance’s stylised moves and appreciate the history of vogue while dancing to Afrobeat, dancehall, hip-hop, R&B and ballroom beats.

Ball culture has grown from its black and Latino LGBTQI+ roots in 1970s New York to become an international phenomenon.
