A researcher, choreographer, dancer and teacher, Léna Blou’s work is part of a growing pedagogy for modern Caribbean dance practice. Nourished by Gwoka aesthetics and contemporary movement, Léna has developed ‘Techni’ka’ and the concept ‘bigidi’ which she teaches at the Dance and Choreographic Studies Centre in Pointe-á-Pitre, Guadeloupe and through master classes.
