READ A BLACK AUTHOR FLASH MOB

Saturday 19 October 12noon | 12:30pm – 2:30pm

Now in its fourth year, join in the flash mob. Founded by Panya Banjoko, with support from Ioney Smallhorne in 2015, there will be simultaneous events taking place in Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, Bristol and London to raise awareness of and support for Black authors. Turn up, meet in a public space and read a book by a Black author quietly for 15 minutes. The African Caribbean Centre will provide a space to read extracts from the books (#RaBA).
