Highrise Entertainment: Lil.miss.lady

Friday 13 June

Part rave, part drama – LIL.MISS.LADY (Lady Lykez) explores the history of Grime through the eyes of a vigorous female MC. From the early stages of Jungle, ravers will take an immersive journey through the sounds and visuals of UK bass music culture, reminiscing through UK Garage, Sub-Low, Funky House, Dubstep and Grime; finding out what it means to be a female navigating her way through such a male dominated industry.

Inspired by a series of interviews with influential women in the Grime scene including Lady Stush, Lioness, Queenie, and Baby Blue; LIL.MISS.LADY celebrates Grime, its women and holds a bass fuelled microscope over Britain’s biggest sub-culture since Punk Rock in the 80s.

Following sell out performances in 2018 at The Roundhouse & Latitude Festival, HighRise return with their acclaimed genre-defying production for new audiences on a UK tour in 2025.
