Dr Natalie Zacek is a Senior Lecturer in American History. Alongside other researchers she ran the Soldiers, Slaves, and Rebels: Currents of Black Resistance in the Tropical Atlantic, c. 1760-1880. Summer Research Institute. She will be exploring the relationship between the city of Manchester, the cotton industry and Slavery.
