COAL MINERS OF AFRICAN CARIBBEAN HERITAGE TRIBUTE EVENT 2016

Thursday, 28 July 2016 from 19:00 to 21:00

A tribute evening to celebrate the contributions made by coal miners of of African Caribbean heritage who laboured within the Nottinghamshire coal mining industry until from the 1950s to 2015.

A FREE event for guest to share in presentations, artefacts handing, view exhibitions, ‘meet the miners’ and networking. Music and refreshements provided. An event supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and hosted by Nottingham News Centre.
