Black Grief Container

Monday 20 December 2021

This space is for Black LGBTQI folx to process grief and loss in the midst of the holiday season through communal and individual rituals.

The holidays can be hard to get through. The cultural expectation is that we are all full of cheer and grateful to gather with loved ones, but the reality is that this season brings a variety of emotions for all of us. This event is creating space for Black LGBTQI individuals and families to learn about the importance of grief and how to help it move through our bodies.

This event is open to families and groups of loved ones who desire to grieve together. We encourage children to participate, and all grief activities are family-friendly.
