This workshop creates space to explore the power of creating unforgettable characters in our writing. In this course, we’ll learn the tools to uncover a character’s flaws and weaknesses, history, hopes, fears and so much more!

Taught by Co-Founder of Black Lives Black Words International Project and multi-award winning playwright Reginald Edmund, in this course Workshop Participants, simply bring a project that they’re working on that is character-driven (fiction, nonfiction, dramatic writing or screenplay) and through writing exercises and group conversation, and free-writing will deepen the characters that drive their narratives forward.
