A wellbeing workshop to demystify the ancestral sciences by learning from how Igbo foremothers used to attune to, embrace and alchemise surrounding energies for individual and collective healing. Participants will be introduced to how the Igbo calendar can be used to manifest an embodied awareness of our inner and outer worlds.

What do I need to know?

A hụrụ m gị n’anya (loosely translated) is Igbo for ‘I am seeing you and I love you’. Seeing each other and being seen by each other is super important to us so, for all of our online events, we kindly request hat everyone in the space has their camera on as much as possible. Thank your for your courage.

We have a needs-based sliding price scale. We need financial support to grow but we also believe – Akuwamgbe – wealth should be universal. If you need access aid to be able to attend our courses, please let us know and we will try our best to accomodate you. On the flip side, if you’d like to donate regularly to support our work, you can do that here – PayPal.me/BlackMindUK)

Accessibility

There will be automated Closed Captions available. (If you have any specific access needs, please let us know in advance.)

The workshop will be held online (Zoom) and you’ll receive the join link in advance.

This is an indigenous healing arts space and is not designed as a substitute for personalised therapy.
