I M Pact Dance Labs explores themes of reawakening, resurgence and resilience in this immersive dance festival where artists are encouraged to experiment with movement in a safe space. Free from the pressures of perfection and completion; only the joy of motion and physical dialogue.
Hosted by I M Pact Artistic Director Yandass Ndlovu and soundtracked by emerging local artists such as Werkha, T.I.M.E and more. You’ll be guided through a truly Mancunian musical experience championing a new wave of work by some of the finest dancers and choreographers from across the city’s unique, genre-bending world of Hip Hop, Contemporary, Afro and freestyle.
One of the first of its kind, I M Pact Dance Labs provides movement artists with invaluable space and time to explore their style and platform their creativity within the industry and the community at large, inviting audiences to observe, critique and participate in the evening’s performances.
