Mental Health Awareness: Dementia, Mummy & Me

Tuesday 10 October

Interactive talk hosted by Rosalyn Reid at Nunhead Library, exploring the impact of dementia on the African Caribbean community.

Rosalyn Reid supported both her Caribbean parents with dementia. However, it was the journey with her mother that really impacted her life.

Rosalyn is an educator and has many years of experience delivering projects, talks and courses focusing on health and wellbeing. In this interactive talk she will be discussing how dementia disproportionately impacts on the African Caribbean community.

This event is part of our Black History Month programme celebrating Southwark’s Black communities.
