The book talks about the journey of her grandparents and my mother’s trials and tribulations and how she had a hard time there. Then she was offered a hand in marriage from a gentleman who had gone to live in England. My mother was so please to leave her island and thought it was an ideal opportunity to leave and start a wonderful life in England…. However, life was not wonderful at all; in fact, far from it.
I am in the process of writing the 2nd part so paperback books are now being sold for £5, instead of £10 and £20.
Bio
My pen name is Penny Ann Lonsdale.
The book is part of a trilogy and is about my mother’s journey in her Caribbean island.
It goes back as far as my great, great grandmother as I felt that people had to know where my mother came from.
