Lord Apex

5 November 2021

Hailing from White City, West London, 22-year-old rapper Lord Apex (AKA Sensei, Yardie Miyagi, or AP) has become an underground favourite thanks to his compellingly laid-back style.

Multiple previous releases chart his evolution; from early offerings influenced by his favourite producer/rappers J Dilla, Madlib, MF DOOM; to the 2018 S.O.I.L. EP produced by The Kount; through to more fully-formed records culminating in 2019’s Smoke Sessions Vol 2 (streamed +6M times) with highlights likeSpliff In the Morning (current at +1.9M YouTube views), EM3 (1,2M views) , SSV2 and being recently chosen to support Yasiin Bey on his European tour.

The first full-length release of 2020 sees Apex teaming up with renown Harlem producer V Don (A$AP Rocky, Dave East, Griselda..) for Supply & Demand which will be followed by the 3rd instalment of his popular Smoke Sessions series. Championed by the likes of Complex, CRACK Magazine, KISS FM & BBC 1Xtra alongside impressive sessions with both COLORS & Boiler Room. Apex is starting to make a serious name for himself in the rap world.
