Manchester’s switch-on party will officially open six weeks of festive celebrations and attractions that have made sure Manchester is well known as the Christmas capital of the UK.
And best of all, it’s free.
Please note, once Albert Square reaches capacity access into the area will be restricted. A number of road closures will be in place on the evening – full details to be released.
The Manchester light switch-on takes place on Saturday 7 November 2015.
Hosted by Key 103’s Debbie Mac, Coronation Street’s Catherine Tyldesley & Kym Marsh will be helping to switch on the lights, as well as Scouting for Girls and Lemar.
The casts from both Cinderella and The Sound of Music will take to the stage to perform.
